I’m absolutely excited, just yesterday I got an e-mail notifying me that I’ve been selected to take the AT&T U-verse assessment test. I’m scheduled to take the test Downtown on Thursday, April 16th at 8 AM. And it says I should be ready to be there for up to 2 hours. I will likely be taking the Metra Electric, as it cheaper and easy than driving. I’m so excited that I don’t know if I should be nervous or simply excited. So from the sound of it, AT&T does their assessment test a little different from what I’m used to with other companies. They use a test called the Technical/Mechanical Test II (Click the link for a sample test.) and it’s done a special testing facility. Looking at the test, I think it should be fairly easy but I could be surprised to find more complexity than what the sample test shows, I really don’t know.

So anyway, I ask everyone prays that I get this job. With everything I’ve been through over the last year, now is the time I get rewarded. Thank you, GOD, for answering my prayers.

On a side note, I did find out that if AT&T doesn’t work out, there will be a job fair next week on the 21st.

As for the open position, it is for the Danville garage and there is a slight chance I can transfer to a garage closer to me. Otherwise, I need to find a studio apartment. I did find one for about $500 per month with a swimming pool. So that’s a thing.

Again, I’m really excited for this possibility and it will be disappointing if I don’t get in. But I guess I will accept whatever comes of it. There might even be a better opportunity later on. I feel I have learned from my mistakes since I lost my job at Radioshack, so I’m ready to move on. Dear GOD, please let this workout.
