So last Tuesday, Barbra from YWAM Orlando finally got back to me about my request to take a short-term trip to Japan. She gave me two e-mail addresses for Robert and Tom. She said Tom is the director of YWAM Asia and Rob (If I understood correctly) lives in Japan and knows a lot of the staff at YWAM Japan. So far I have only heard back from Rob and he says that he thinks I need to take a 5-6 month course called Discipleship Training School at YWAM. This would not be a bad thing, I just hope I’m not required to take the class since I want to get involved in IT volunteering, not fieldwork alone. Also, the cost to take the course costs ¥520,000 which is more than $4,800.00. I would need a lot of supporters in order to do that. I current goal was to either apply for their IT position in Tokyo or the Website Designer position in Osaka, both listed on their YWAM.org Job Board.

In other news, I finally went to place in Mokena, Illinois, called Sapporo. They serve Japanese Steak, Seafood, and Sushi. I had the steak and boy was it good. I got a heck ton of Fried Rice and some Miso Soup. I highly recommend this place.
