So last night I was informed that our store manager, Gwen is leaving our story new Friday. She is being transferred to store further in Chicago, I think she said someplace on Martin Luther King Jr Dr. Anyways if you missing my last memo, this is all because our store is closing January 11th next year. I feel as if I might be cursed because this is the second time I’ve had a long-term job that ended by a store closing. Just kidding. Last day for anyone to rent will be January 4th and I volunteered to stay till the very end to help pack and ship product. I really hope I can quit by then and find a better store. We are doing one last inventory on Sunday and Monday.
